TOM WISHON 870Ti Irons
Features:
- Forged, CNC machined, variable thickness Beta-Titanium face design increases the ball speed to the highest possible level for an iron design - higher than the 770CFE which proved a high COR iron was possible.
- Thinner, Beta-Titanium face design allows even more weight to be removed from the face than is possible with a 6/4 Ti face to be positioned on the toe and heel areas to increase the MOI of the head for even better off-center hit performance.
- Slightly oversize head shape and profile automatically increases the MOI over more traditional iron head sizes to add even more to the off-center hit capability of the 870Ti.
- 870Ti face profile allows a larger face area to increase the size of the Beta-Ti face and the ability of the face to flex more to offer a higher COR for the highest possible ball velocity in an iron design.
- Reduced-offset hosel design allows a wider range of players to benefit from the super high performance design characteristics of the 870Ti.
- Fully radiused sole grind with beveled leading edge provides the most playability for all levels of golfers from all types of lie conditions.

Ask Yourself: Are all golfers the same size, the same strength, posess the same athletic ability, or have the same swing speed and tempo? If you have ever observed golfers on a driving range, you know the answer is NO! Because we are all unique regarding our size, strength, athletic ability and swing characteristics, preassembled clubs built to one standard set of specifications (regarding length, lie, loft, total weight, swing weight/MOI, wood face angle, shaft flex, shaft weight, shaft bend profile, grip size, set make-up, etc) will very likely not allow you to play your best golf. You see, in other sports where we hit a ball with a stick, like tennis or baseball, only 1 stick is needed. Therefore, it is very easy and an absolute must for these manufacturers to cutomize these sticks to the different size, strength, and athletic abilities of their consumers. Because you need 14 sticks in golf, they can't be offered in a vast selection of different lengths, lies, weights, shafts, grip sizes, etc, because the mass production assembly line couldn't handle these demands, not to mention the huge inventory needed and resulting inventory nightmare for the store selling them, and the knowledgeable staff needed to properly fit and build them from scratch for each individual customer.
