TOM WISHON 739CCG Drivers
NEW! The new 739CCG titanium drivers are designed to offer a wide range in a number of specific custom fitting options. The 739CCG is not intended to replace the 919THI drivers but is designed for a number of specific and different fitting requirements for certain golfers.
The 739CCG is a unique design to the game because it is TRUE BILLET FORGED – the body forged from 6/4 titanium bar and the face forged from SP700 titanium bar. This allows specific body wall areas to be as thin as 0.7mm to allow the full 460cc size head to exist at a weight as low as 192g.
Design Elements of the 739CCG Drivers
The twin front and rear weight screws allow clubmakers to offer launch angle, trajectory and spin options in fitting for golfers. By rotating the heaviest and lightest weight screws between the forward and rear screw holes, launch angle for either 739CCG driver head can be slightly altered, and spin rates changed up to 500 rpms.
With the different weight screw options, the headweight of the 739CCG can range between a low of 192g all the way up to as high as 229g to allow clubmakers to build the 739CCG to lengths between 42” and 46” and still achieve a normal range of swingweight.
Weight screws are available in 2.5g, 6.5g, 9g, 13g and 16g. Use of the different weight screws will create a difference in impact sound. Weight screws are sold separately.
The 739CCG drivers are produced with a soft titanium hosel to allow custom bending for lie and/or face angle fitting options. TWGT will accept orders to bend the 739CCG to your requests.
739CCG driver heads are available in RH in 9.5º and 11º lofts.

Ask Yourself: Are all golfers the same size, the same strength, posess the same athletic ability, or have the same swing speed and tempo? If you have ever observed golfers on a driving range, you know the answer is NO! Because we are all unique regarding our size, strength, athletic ability and swing characteristics, preassembled clubs built to one standard set of specifications (regarding length, lie, loft, total weight, swing weight/MOI, wood face angle, shaft flex, shaft weight, shaft bend profile, grip size, set make-up, etc) will very likely not allow you to play your best golf. You see, in other sports where we hit a ball with a stick, like tennis or baseball, only 1 stick is needed. Therefore, it is very easy and an absolute must for these manufacturers to cutomize these sticks to the different size, strength, and athletic abilities of their consumers. Because you need 14 sticks in golf, they can't be offered in a vast selection of different lengths, lies, weights, shafts, grip sizes, etc, because the mass production assembly line couldn't handle these demands, not to mention the huge inventory needed and resulting inventory nightmare for the store selling them, and the knowledgeable staff needed to properly fit and build them from scratch for each individual customer. BEFORE you get misled by a $50 million per year marketing campaign, allow me to give you a free, 15 minute, no obligation, clubfitting demonstration before you decide where to buy...at the very least you will learn a few things.
